VALERO REFINING Corpus Christi, Texas called in CBG, LLC to remove broken Inconel studs from the largest expander turbine in the world during their shutdown to rebuild this system. Drill with cobalt bits took up to 4 hours and numerous bits. CBG’s Metal Disintegration Machine removed a stud in less than an hour including chasing the threads.
